Family Camp Talahi is a great time for the whole family and friends! All generations, all family types, chosen and biological families, and of course Talahi singles. Enjoy the camp’s beautiful scenery during a laid-back weekend for families of all shapes and sizes.
The schedule for family camp is flexible, and our Counselors in Training will be on hand to offer games, crafts, nature hikes, and activities for kids of all ages. There will also be lifeguards on duty and plenty of time to swim and build sand castles, which is always a family camp favorite activity!
Young Adult camps run concurrently. Families can choose to stay in our modern dorms, go tent camping in the camper’s meadow, or may opt for an RV (limited number of outlets available in the field).

Friday
- 6pm – check in
- 6:30pm – dinner
- 7:15 – Large Group Activities (games, family crests, etc)
- 8:15/30 pm – S’mores on Hippo Hill/songs
- 9:00pm – Settle in dorms as needed
Saturday
- 8:30 am Breakfast
- 9:15 am Morning Watch and Movement
- 9:45am Adventure Course or crafts/games (choice)
- 10:45am Tie Dye or collage making
- 11:45am TREE TIME
- 12:00 pm Lunch
- 12:45 pm FOB
- 2pm Waterfront/Canoe
- 3:45pm Camp Store
- 4:15pm – Yarn Crafts/coloring/collage making
- 5:15pm – Tree Time
- 5:30 Dinner
- 6:15pm – Field Games/Activities
- 6:45pm – Pterodactyl/games
- 7:45pm Fire/S’mores/Songs
- 8:30 pm Snack/story time…to the Dorms for the littles!
Sunday
- 8:30am Cabin Clean Up
- 9 am Breakfast
- 9:45 am Morning Watch/complete any crafts/activities
- 10:00am – say our goodbyes
What to bring:
- Long Pants (long enough to reach the shoes!)
- Shorts, shirts
- Long Sleeved Shirt
- Bathing Suit
- Towels (2)
- Tennis Shoes (closed toe)
- Sandals
- Pillow
- Sleeping Bag and/or twin sheets
- Flashlight
- Book or quiet activity
- Toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc.)
- Water Bottle
- Insect Repellent (should protect against mosquito’s and ticks)
- White (or light colored) 100% cotton shirt for tie dye.
