As the summer approaches (despite there still being snow on the ground), we are preparing for the possible changes that may affect camp this year due to the coronavirus epidemic. Currently, we are still optimistic about being able to proceed with camp as usual but are staying up-to-date on current policies and recommendations in order to do what is best by our campers, families, and community. As always your health and well-being are our top priorities. Attached is a letter addressing where we currently are in these ever-changing developments and a policy for these upcoming months. We expect these to change and develop as we get closer to summer and will keep you updated.
Lastly and most importantly, we want to express our deepest sympathies for those in our community that have experienced the death or illness of a loved one, have been sick themselves, or otherwise affected by this pandemic. You are in our prayers and are always encouraged to reach out to our camp community for support and help.
If you have further questions, please join us for our information meetings on April 20th for parents and guardians and April 22nd for campers 7th grade – young adult. For more details on these events, visit our facebook page or reach out to camptalahi@gmail.com.
