Global Partnerships
The Michigan Conference United Church of Christ is in partnership with the Pomeranian Region Evangelical Church of the Union, Germany, and with the United Church of Christ in the Philippines, Visayas Region.
Opportunities to visit Germany and the Philippines, as well as, opportunities to host guests from our partnerships are planned on a regular basis. The purpose of these partnerships is to promote understanding, build relationships, and learn about our many similarities and differences, opening our eyes in new ways.
Tentative plans for future exchanges include travel to the Philippines for the Church Workers Convocation in late August 2008 and a church musician/choir exchange to Greifswald Germany in the spring of 2009.
